The idea for Listasaurus.com was inspired by our frustration with the unbelievable cost of newspaper advertising (ouch!) as well as the hope of bringing a community feeling to the online classified world. In our own journeys amid online classified websites, we observed that many online advertising sites (especially the "free" ones) are confusing and difficult to use, not to mention overwhelmed by spam ads that make it difficult to find the "real" ads in there somewhere...

We thought...people need a website that is an affordable, effective and easy-to-use alternative to print classified ads and impersonal online ad sites! We also wanted to offer an affordable alternative for business owners to advertise, that didn't require constant reposting to the site but placed their listings in a directory format for better exposure and easier navigation by consumers.

And Voila! Listie was born...(ok, so it took a little bit more than that, but you get the idea!)
